How to update without USB or SD ??

Burn a CD with an ISO and insert in the CD drive in the car.

The firmware of my ships is: rneg_D_R20ter_R20.07
You should leave this firmware or upgrade to a new firmware?
If I have to upgrade, which firmware do you recommend and what are the benefits.

Go for software V. 2.86 - it is the lastest and the most advantage firmware for RT6.
On top of it it has now built in 15 languages (latest languages: polish, czech, croatian, hungarian).

It allways works flawless.

Where can I get a copy of 2.86 b1 for RT6 . to put on cd with good instructions ?
Not sure if I should do it from an sd card as I have heard of many fails and that cd works better.

Rule nr. 1: don't do anything, if you are not 100% shure, what are you doing.
Rule nr. 2: search forums and learn everything about FW upgrade rather than use system "learning by doing": if you mess up the navi system, it can not be repaired for free!

RT6 system update can be performed ONLY with the use of USB memory source, no other possibility exists as I know.

For latest SW update tool download: search in Peugeot-Citroen post of this forum.
Only copy downloaded (unrared - if necessary) package to USB memory stick (as described in forum),
insert it in USB of your navi system (engine working!)
and wait until system recognises SW update, it will guide you through process.
Don't interupt upgrade process, even if it looks, like it is stucked:
it takes about 25 or 30 minutes to upgrade firmware of RT6 system!

Hey guys, I new to this, and I want to update my car maps, but I dont want to f*ck up anything.

I tried to update from 2.70.E.3 all the files donwloaded from 2.71 to 2.86B and, after about 5 minutes, the response is always "update support is uncomplete or corrupted"
Please, where do you think I do some mistake?
