Update FW RT6 2.08 to 2.86 - Calibration Problems?

Postby Vasconia » Sat Nov 04, 2017 6:07 am

Hello guys,

I have a peugeot with RNEG2.08.A.1 system, with 2011 maps, I want to upgrade the FW to 2.86 to update maps. Will I have calibration problems if i update directly from 2.08 to 2.86? Does anyone have intermediate updates 2.21, 2.37, 2.71 and 2.77 available for me to download?

Thanks!

Probably, you will have calibrations problems.

I updated from 2.20 to 2.21 and logo oficial Peugeot stay in the display. I Hear the radio, the bluetooth it's ok, but only see the logo in te display.

Also, I have read others people has problems with noise of bluetooth, after update...

I would go to the Oficial Service, and I ask for the update, in a car review.

Regards.

Thank you Sanjusto for you reply, the peugeot 308 didn't take the 2.21, 2.37 and 2.71 USB and CD updates. So I decided to update directly up to 2.86 with an fat32 pendrive and it works. Everything looks right. I update maps and alerts. The firmware changed the language to Czech but i could fix it with the mirascript 1.04. The only thing that happens now is that the orange digital compass on the instrumental (speedometer...) board panel dessapeared...any idea?

Try doing reset.

Soft reset.... holding eject disc for 10 seconds

Reset... Remove positive wire of battery for 10 minutes.

I don't know other thing.

Hi Navyrum,

In "user.config.dat":
* Unlock language selection:
1.6: Display data
Field "1.6.98: Language selection option in setup"
value=0 change it to 1

You need "Mirascript" and "DatExplorer" utilities.

Extract the "Mirascript" archive on your key and keep only the "RT6_USERCOM.CMD" file from the "CMD" folder.
Connect the USB key to the RT6 and answer "YES" to the script execution request.
The script will ask to launch the "WRITE" command to which you will answer "NO".
The script will then ask to launch the "READ" command to which you will answer "YES".
Wait for the script to finish executing before unplugging the US key.
On your PC, make a copy of the "User_config.dat" file on the USB key.
Extract the archive of "DATEXPLORER".
Launch "DATEXPLORER" and click on "Load Config", select the "RT6_2xx-user_config.dat" file.
Click on "Load Dat" and select the "User_config.dat" file at the root of your USB key
Navigate to the section indicated above and make changes indicated.
Click on "Save" and remove the USB key from your computer.
Connect the USB key to the RT6 which will ask you to execute the "USERCOM" script, answer "YES".
The script will ask to launch the "WRITE" command to which you will answer "YES".
Wait for the RT6 to display a message asking to reboot. ESPECIALLY DO NOT ANSWER YES. It will be necessary to press
the eject button for 10 seconds, until the RT6 restarts.
