Avic s1 is very old (2006) I think latest software update was in 2007 and "newest" maps were released in 2010. Map data then were even 2 years or so older. Since then .... nothing moved.

In my opinion, you best install a different software, like iGO or Sygic. After unlocking your Avic with WinCE unlocker or likewise unlocker.

i have tried to look for that unlocker and cannot find it anywhere. does anyone have the program or any .other that will unlock this unit

Cannot find it? I type in google 'WinCE unlocker" and get dozens of links, including torrents

will this one do ? [Please Register or Login to download file]
