Hi Experts,
I am a new user of the IGO 8.3 gps software. I wanted to try IGO prime on my device. Going through the posts, it appears that IGO prime has different versions that suits different OS versions of Win CE. Unfortunately I am unaware of the steps to get OS version / screen resolution information from my device. Can one of you be kind enough to let me know the steps in finding these information, so that I will be able to search the right version that suits my device?

I'd recommend using iGo Primo 2.4 (9.6.13.405512). Most WinCE 2DIN units in my experience are 800x480 and WinCE 5 or WinCE 6. Primo 2.4 will work with either version and will also work with most resolutions "out of the box" (it will even automatically detect resolution and GPS port info).

The first is an 800x480 only release - and is the release I prefer - it's a very clean "stock" release:

I'd recommend trying the first one first and only use the 2nd one if you find that your 2DIN is not 800x480. If you use the 1st one, there are (2) different executables - one ending in CN and one ending in WD - you want to use the WD executable. The CN executable is for Chinese maps or something like that.

These archives are just the app - you will need to add "CONTENT" (maps, pois, etc) for your country.
