IGO primo 2.4 (9.6.13.405512) does not accept input of address

Postby paccman » Fri Jan 30, 2015 7:49 pm

Just updated my primo to 2.4 (9.6.13.405512) and everything seemed to work great first time.... till I tried navigating to an address :022:
When i go to the destination page to input a postcode or address, the letters show they are being selected but the line where the letters/numbers should appear stays blank!!
It will not show any letter I press. I tried changing the keyboard to different layouts from options but still nothing registers on the address line.

I know I've come across another post with the same subject but can't seem to find it anymore.

Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Thank you

Correction to my first post... the input does work but only seems to accept London as a destination (the letter L automatically takes me to London as a choice, the letter i takes me to London Limehouse as the only destination choice...

I am thinking this has to do with postcodes or towns that it recognises from my input (which seems to be London and only London). The map I am using is United_Kingdom_83_HERE_2014.Q2_141002 with 4 files on the card with the extensions of: fbl / fpa / fsd / fda. Is there another file needed, in poi folder maybe, to be able to input the postcodes? The map files were working fine on a previous version of primo 2.4 with full postcodes available.

Please help

I downloaded from the link you briefly had on here and works fine, the only thing is there is no 'settings' button! is there anything I need to add to sys.txt to allow this to show?

The custom search from the first page works, though the specific search buttons do not.

The custom search from the first page works, though the specific search buttons do not.

I fixed this by removing the zips in the UX folder. This reverts it to the stock UI and it fixes the problem.

Also, you need the tts dll in the root for tts voices to work. I just pulled it from the older Primo 2.4 download.
