Hey guys, new to this forum but actually been lurking quite a lot today.
So my dad bought this device on Ebay and it was working fine for him apparently, then something happened and he just screwed everything up so now I am sitting here for 6 hours trying to figure out a fix.
So this device comes with WinCe 6.0 and I download IGO Primo put it on it and it worked fine until I discovered that it doesn't detect any satellites just says 'Autodetecting GPS Receiver'..
I tried multiple ports and baunds around this and other forums and non of them seem to work.
So unless I am doing it wrong its not with the ports but with actual device.
ROM V: V.912S.7101100.131106.4G
APP V:V2.8F-NUI20-SD-EN
4GB - 128RAM
Thanks for any help

Might be worth downloading iGO 8 and using its scan for gps receiver feature that Primo doesn't have..?
For reference the com ports go from 1 to 9 and the more popular baud rates are 4800, 9600, 57600.
Com 1 9600, Com 2 4800 and Com 7 57600 are the most popular I've seen

I have tried all of them, no luck. Waiting about 30mins with each one and still nothing.
Do you possibly know where I could get iGO8 from ?

The program doesn't work, just gives an error of no database or something :/

Your information is vague and I can't see what you see on your device. So I am only guessing it is "application database not found"?
If yes, then see if this post can help.

Program works 100%. You must be doing something wrong. See katastrophe post.

Sorry for the vague information, it was late at night and I am pretty sick of this
And THANK YOU for the iGO8 link, all i had to do is add ';' to sys.
Now then, when I did AUTODETECT i got 'GPS Receiver cannot be found!'... What do I do now or is this it ?

Do a Google search for your device's baud and port and put that in the sys.txt.
[gps]
port=your number
baud=your number

I've tried all that, nothing works. I am thinking this is the hardware problem, maybe bad communication with the software or WinCE driver problem (Assuming it has drivers) ..

Honestly, this is a difficult thing to advise you further. It appears that you've tried the most common things. Try this: Delete the save folder and see what effect that has. To turn off the program do not just simply turn off the device but exit through the program first.
