Primo postcode problem only 5 digits

Hi all
I got a chinese 7" satnav unit with the hope of putting tomtom on it but it is a win ce6 unit with 256mb ram and tomtom just will not run on it, so i have given up on getting tomtom to work.
So back to the drawing board, i thought i would update the maps on it and try the igo primo that was preinstalled.
The Primo works but only has 5 digit postcode lookup.
i think it need a different or additional licence for 7 digit postcodes and i am not sure if it a current map?
The primo is 9.6.13.321005 is that current ?
and do i need a new or different licence

That Primo is recent enough, and no, you don't need an extra license.
You only need to put it in the correct way. For UK it's a space in between the two parts : AA11 1AA

LOL, I did not check nabis database earlier. (program-data-zip-branding-zip-license-f83/list-known-igo-amigo-and-primo-wince-based-releases-t913.html). That 321005 is a fake build which should however work flawless. Only the build number is fake, so no worries here, the original 267029 does work well on most devices.

The part I refer to? What do you mean? When you make a route you first set country and then the city, switch to number keyboard and put in the postcode with a space in between.

About the licenses, I think the minimal required to have all Primos features is 4 or 6, but then I mean ALL features. These are the 6:

6 licences ....... only two provided with this new unit.....dodgy chinese make heheheh

so what extra features has it got now ?

or would it be better with a newer map?

Well, there are newer UK maps. Check in the map section.
And the features, they may possible not all be available, like TMC, use of phoneme files, voice recognition, ....

You'd be mad to install TomTom if iGo Promo is an option. iGo Primo is vastly better! I've never seen a version of Primo that didn't go full postcodes, but you do have to enter them in proper postcode format - AB12 3CD. And look for 2014 Q4 maps. They seem to be the current ones.
