Primo2 Repair Kit

Requirements:
Primo2 install that needs repair back to unmodified status.
Resolutions Supported: 320x240 480x272 800x480


Maybe you have an install of Primo2 from some distribution that has been over-customized or modified to the point of things not working as they should.
This Repair Kit will return the 'guts' of the program back to the way it should be, but keep all your previously downloaded/installed content intact without having to start over from scratch.

You must already have a FULL INSTALL of Primo2 for any of the included files to work.
[color="#FF0000"]DO NOT[/color] attempt to use the included files on anything BUT a Primo2 install. It will end in tears.

This is [color="#FF0000"]NOT a full install of Primo2[/color]! It includes only these files:

Primo2.exe
branding.zip
Data.zip
sys.txt
vautov5.dll
These files are only intended to REPAIR an existing install of Primo2 and WILL NOT function as a navigation program by themselves.
No other folders, files, voices, languages, content or any other essential components are included.
If you do not have a full install of Primo2, or other things like voices or languages are messed up, you would be better off to get the full install from here:

Instructions:
[SPOILER=See Instructions]1) Copy your entire Primo2 folder/installation from your device or SD Card to your PC for backup.

2) On your device or SD Card delete the following from your main {Primo2} folder:

Primo2.exe (or whatever you may have renamed the main Primo EXE file)
branding.zip
data.zip
sys.txt
vautov5.dll
Save (folder)
ui_igo9 (folder...if it exists; it may not)
gfx (folder...if it exists; it may not)
gfxtc (folder...if it exists; it may not)
themechanger (folder...if it exists; it may not)

3) Unrar the download on your PC. Copy all files in the download (except the PDF Manual file...keep that on your PC to view as you like) to your main {Primo2} folder on your device or SD Card. Do not unzip anything.
3a) If you had previously renamed Primo2.exe to something else for your device or menu system, rename the new EXE to be the same as the old one was.

4) Do not edit or modify sys.txt at this point. See if everything works FIRST. To see if Primo can determine your GPS settings automatically and lock onto satellites, be sure to be outside with a clear view of the sky and be prepared to wait anywhere from 2 to 30 minutes. After the first satellite lock, subsequent times should be much faster.

5) Start Primo 2. It will be like it has never been setup before. Go through the initial setup and make all the appropriate choices. Skins (if used) will need to be re-enabled.

Special note about TTS Voices:
Since the only authorized TTS Voices for Primo2 were/are Nuance TTS-Pro, these are the only ones that will work with this Repair Kit as it is.
If your current (modified-customized) Primo2 install used Loquendo or other older TTS voices, modifications may have to be made if you intend to keep using them.
