Hi All,

First time post, I am wanting to update the maps in the car, the latest previously installed was 2014, when car was new, I have just recently bought it.

I have the maps, but tried to clone the SD card to keep the original one as it was, the cloned card looked okay (although was a 16gb instead of 8gb) inside the NaviExtras software, all came up no problems, but when putting in the car, it didn't load, it just sat there, then the radio rebooted and lost all of its settings. I had only cloned it with old original maps, so not an issue with new maps, I wanted to get the new card working first. Then will add maps and mess about with the cloned card.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Update on this, I also tried an 8gb card, an exact clone with the hidden partition, but still cannot get the new card to work, anyone done this?

The card serial numbers are the same, I checked in CMD using dir x: command.
Must be something hidden??
