which version for wince 5??

HI all,

I have a Mio M420 (M400) which runs wince 5, which is the best/latest version of iGO/Primo that I can use on this device please (I only need UK maps on it)?

Either will work but I prefer igo8 over primo as twice primo sent me a silly route when testing and it has also crashed on me. Took my igo8 down to Mosel Valley in Germany last month an it was flawless. You may still have to download all the maps though to get the UK ones unless someone knows different.

I still use Primo 2.0 on my M400 as it's never crashed once, even when it was used daily with a route containing 20+ stops.

Also no silly routing as well (with navteq maps)

are you able to update the maps/have the lastest maps even though you are using an old version of Primo?

great thanks... i think i might already have a old version of igo on it already... so i can just download newer maps and put them on it and everything should work fine..

I have iGO Primo 8.5.9.142948 currently with UK 2011.Q1 (110405) maps.
Should I update the iGO or leave it and just update the map please?

If you want ONLY the map, copy .fbl file.

What is the others chas? By that I mean the .fjw, .fpa etc. I downloaded that Q2 file and there are 174 files for Europe where the Q1 was only 90

Do a Google search for the definitions. As for myself, I only keep the .fbl and poi files - along with the speedcams. I don't find the rest necessary.
