dakota 20 & Garmin gb discoverer 1:50k – full coverage

Postby amitchell2 » Sun Apr 17, 2011 8:31 pm

Hi All,
This may well have been posted on here several times before or that it is in the wrong section, but I am new to this so please bear with me
I have recently just bought a Dakota 20 as my old gps is damaged and cannot see the screen, I bought with my old gps the “Garmin gb discoverer 1:50k – full coverage” and it worked fine, however in my Dakota 20 the maps are locked, i thought when purchasing the gps I would just be able to put the sd card in and it would work!
After looking on this forum It looked as though I need to generate a new key for my maps so I have downloaded garmin keygen v1.5 and put in my unit id but here is where I get stuck, my map isnt listed here??
I get that I need to paste the new key into the .ull file (overwriting the old key) but what am I missing in between??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Andrew

I do understand all but....

you need your Device ID and MapID
then use this Garmin JetMouse Keygen v1.5 with Checksum Fix

and read these..
