Is ResidentFlash2 a hidden folder on the memory card
Tucked away view it is how I see it in win7?
or should I just create a folder called ResidentFlash2
and copy the files there.

ResidentFlash2 is a hidden partition on the internal drive, the easiest way to get access to it is to install total commander on the device and type ResidentFlash2 in the address box

It should well be possible and run total commander
from the memory card and then, Instead and automatically installed it on my device?

Tested on my Lokatoo A1000(HD) SDMMC 800x480, so far working well. Just make sure that installed it on the SDMMC root, meaning that all 8 folder need to be in the SDMMC root, if not u will get the detail map not avaliable error.

The only thing is the POI. I use malfreemap POI and load all the *.gpi file in the POI folder but, the custom POI in the garmin is empty. Any reason or solution.

Update:
The MfM POI is in the Custom POI menu, not in the POI menu. my mistake.

Anyway good jobs guys. the only thing missing is the coordinate input or this version do not have them. I'm using the CE Keyboard for keyboard. Tips from another forum. Google "Keyboardnya kecil sekali".....
