I'm not artfull ! Another thing, use button search before ask, garmin xt for windows ce 800x480 is already posted here in garmin software section and all other informations, learn once to use button search!

I have china's GPS product without brand and using YF and iGO8

So if i want to install this Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.20w for Windows CE 6.0, i have just to put on root of my SD Card and just run this apps ?

Lag must be due to your low internal memory.

I want to load Maps for Southern Africa. I was referred to this forum by Artful, I then downloaded Garmin Mobile XT v5.00.20w for Windows CE 6.0

When I run the Garmin application from the RunGMXT, it gives me an interface with options, I choose "Connect to Garmin GPS". It starts to Scan (scanning attached), then say "Unable to locate Garmin GPS device. Connect to other GPS devices?". I choose Yes, it then say "Connection allowed to Garmin GPS device only". If I say enable it starts to scan again and return the same messages. What could be the problem and what can I do?

Installation is successful and no device ID, just saying "Connection allowed to Garmin GPS device only"

I 'm not quite sure for the solution for newer package.
Normally , with this message , it mean your software still lock , need to be unlock (or if the program was unlock before , it seem to be not compleate install)
Can you looking in to the "tool"- set up-about , looking for the device id , then try to use JM for unlock , this is the normall procedure for installing GMXT

can it be used on Papago R5800?

I have an YF chinese GPS with Win CE 6. I downloaded the files in this post, uncompress them in a sd card, plug it in the GPS and worked but it is giving me an error when I make some search or brose some features as interest places. Error is not very user friendly:
ERROR: Assert failed at CDP_StaticListField.cpp : 646 in Garmin Mobile XT with error 0

Do you have any work around to it or can you recommend me another version of Garming to use? I did tried with several at this point with no luck. If you need any other information from me end just let me know.

Nevermind I followed your advice and search into the site and found that GPS with 800*480 resolution have problems and found another thread that helped me a lot
