The instructions in the first post are pretty clear.
The DLL, if missing, only need to to be copied into the folder where the mortsrcipt is located.
But as I said : install on the right version on a SD card first.

Hi Downunder, I have been reading your thread all night and I still cannot have my CASKA 2Din work with regards to its GPS function

Just as an information, the Garmin Mobile XT v.5.00.10w that I copied to my SD Card works well in my unit, however, whenever, I pressed the POI, the software automatically crashes. I guess that is because the resolution of my CASKA is 800*480 and I understand that it is not compatible.

I had tried downloading the programs that you had posted on the first page however here are the following problems:

1. No Removable map can be seen (map cannot be read)
2. The unit cannot seem to get connected to the GPS even if my have my transmitter and antenna properly plugged on the unit.

Hope that you can help me with this simple problem.

Well, if another version works than use it, as I said earlier, this version here is only a "last resort".
Depending on the version and CE system in use not all functions will work, this is due to the limitations of a hacked version.
And it is for PNA's I seriously doubt that it would work on a PDA with external antenna...

The CASKA 2Din DVD with GPS included inside is running at Windows CE 5.0.
The GPS Device that was used was Samsung 2440.
The Screen Resolution according to the Retailer is 800*480 Resolution
I dont have yet any version that works with this specification. Hope you can help me.

Hi dragon1234,
I have CASKA 2din also like you, but worse problem.
When i execute Garmin.exe from RunGMXT folder, only busy cursor show for few second, and nothing happen not even garmin start up display show up.
FYI GPS port for my Caska was com6, if you able to get into setting menu then you can correct your gps com port.

Hope any one here advice me, am i missing something ?

My device specification, cyber x-drive dvd system cy-7400, 7" screen 800*480 resolution, 64 ram, wince 5.00 Chinese language with mixed English
tried almost every version & maps out there but no luck, all same problem but this version is stable & fast, I really like hope any one can help me with this.

Ok, one more time ;)
This Garmin version is a "last resort" - if all other versions fail to run on a high res device it might be the only one to run.
It is still a hacked WM version with many flaws that go along with modifications like that.
Some features won't work properly on all devices.
If the right version for your memory card is used you can start Germin using the Que.exe, the mortscript is mailny for devices that won't hide the task bar by default or that need to include a port splitter.
When using the mortscript it can help to increase the timer (wait) inside to allow other tasks to be finnished before the next is started.

If you know your GPS settings but Garmin won't work with it you might have to search for a suitable portsplitter.
Sorry, but apart from the fact that it runs on a few more devices it is just like any other hacked Garmin version.

I think there is problem with the 7 inch screens as it has cutscreen problem, but my friend has 6.2 inch screen unit that is working fine without the 3d cutscreen problem.

Downunder35m, could you please modify it so that it can work with the 7" 800*480 with no cutscreen or is it not possible?
