Garmin Mobile XT CE for Chinanavi with 800x480

Postby Downunder35m » Thu Dec 08, 2011 7:55 am

Maybe the problem is easier:
If Garmin starts but complains about a missing map than I would start with the map....
Right folder (Garmin) ?
Unlocked image?
Correct unlock code generated using Jetmouse keygen?

@deejai: It imho not enough to simply post some links to a hosting site.
Some info about the release, who created it and so on is good to have as otherwise the next user has no clue and most likely only finds dead links with no option to search for an alternative download ;)

What about these http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?5284-City-Navigator-Southern-Africa-NT-2011.10 You have to look and search here first. I found these with no problem.

You have to search here in the maps section. BTW, what device do you have? There are alternatives.

...and what does it matter? If you run Garmin software, you can use (nearly) all Garmin maps.

You'll have to pardon my lack of knowledge with your device. But is that a Toyota installed device or is it a generic WinCE device? I guess what I'm asking are you able to utilize a different program on a SD card?

Its a generic WinCE device. It came out with Igo8 but I wanted Garmin because it navigates better. So is there maybe a way that I can get the other maps to work? or is there a specific way to save the files on the SD card?

The reason that I say there are alternatives is because iGO8 has maps for S. Africa. What they show or what roads are available I really don't know. http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?7715-More-not-so-common-R3-maps You need the cracked iGO8 program from here to use those maps because the license has been modified.

look at "gmsup file" it's in Apps folder
open gmsup with notepad edit CHINA to THAI then save it

if your device is 800x480 Thai.ttf in Font folder ok good for you
but if 480x272 you must change Thai.ttf in Font folder by search and take Thai.ttf size 189 k to replace it

run it again
