Garmin Mobile XT CE for Chinanavi with 800x480

Postby ricardo_gunawan » Sat Apr 28, 2012 7:28 am

My Device is Super Sprinf SF410ii HD, Windows CE6, 128MB, 800x480
This Garmin is working just fine on my device. The only problem is the font on the list of POI is half cutted. The screen capture image is in attachment. How to fix this?
Thank you very much for responding... :)

:think:Surprising!!!. I downloaded and I copied to the SD Card the version of the Garmin XT available on forum. After, I copied to the POI directory a gpi file with radar positions. With the SD card installed in an AvMap GPS with Win CE 5 480x240 (made in China), I started the Garmin XT. Through the Garmin’s menu, I confirmed the presence of files in the Personal POI's directory. I realized a street test and everything worked fine including the radar warnings with audible alert and text. Then, I used the same SD card with a CHINANAVI Double DIN 7 " WIN CE 6 with 800x480 and I started the GARMIN XT without problems. In the street test I didn't get any kind of warning of radars. In the CHINANAVI, I used the Garmin XT‘s menu to check for the presence of files in the Personal POI's directory and did not appear any file. Then, I put the SD Card in AvMap GPS and to my amazement the POI’s files were present and working. Does anyone know what might be going on? Thank you.

I've tried this navi program on my chinese car gps-dvd player, WinCE 6, 128 MB, 800x480, com2, 4800.
The program was running well for default operation. During starting, about 5 second, shown on the display a explorer window with some folder icon and chinese fonts. Then the screen become black, and Garmin's logo with "NaviTotal Edition" shown. The explorer window shown again during exit process. about 5 second it disappear.

Is it possible to eliminate/ hide/ skip the explorer window? why still shown, since nothing can do on that window...?

I have tried to make a change or modify a POI or favorit, and the system blink, shown explorer window and exit the aplication and hang. The screen was freezing. Push the power botton is the only way of my option. Lucky me the data or setting still remain before freezed.

Anyway, I have iGO8, Papago X8.5, Navitel, and Garmin, all of them executable on my chinese car gps-dvd player, and I have no worry to borred to use one navi program. Two thumbs up for Downunder or Moderator.

:)

Hi,
After read thru all the pages, It seems that there is no proper solution on how to fix the pop up "Unable to locate GPS device; please verify that device is powered on and within range. Continue searching?".
It keeps popping up if i click yes even though i'm under a clear sky.
i've been trying it for 15~20min over these 2 days.

Am i missing something here?

Please advise.

Thanking you in advance.

1.You sure that you instal Garmin on SDMMC for this version and add sw.unl file in Garmin

2.If still not search GPS test another version
install in residentflash only
[Please Register or Login to download file]

run by Garmin\Apps\WM\Garmin_CE6.exe

change to Chinese Language by Apps > GMSUP open GMSUP with notepad
edit THAI to CHINA

1. Yes, I'm very sure that "sw.unl" file is in the folder.
2. i'll try to install the file you've given n try it later coz' forgot to charge my device last night.

What do you mean by change the language to CHINA?
What about if i want ENGLISH?

If you don't see my reply again after today meaning successful.

Thanks in advance again.
