First of all when you ask for help, write more detail like, brand, name, model of your device, it's specification, type of memory which your device use internal/external-sd card, write what you exactly tried, where you downloaded garmin xt release, etc. , on that way you'll make easier helping of some member, mod, etc.

It still has a problem when you try to select a vehicle and goes "BONG!" and tells me I have to download new vehicles from Garmin. Then it's locked up and I need to reboot.

And the POIs are crushed when they're displayed.

that's normally behavior , cause garmin every developed originally some release for os win ce, this is cracked releases, and vehicles can't be changed, and poi can't be used, but maps can use without problems...

how did you "install" it ? More details, when do you see that error? Try to direct open Que.exe from it's locations, and tell use result...

Sir i have been installed gmxt at Wp9100r before ( win ce5 com 2 baudrate 4800). and its work! today, i have a new gps blackbox ( com 2 baudrate 9600 ) with spec same as wp9100r but the sdcard called StorageCard. anyway i change the mscr files and it work too. but when i want to know the maps or i want to select POI, why it quit from GMXT? and the error says, assert failed at CDO_staticlistfield.cpp :646 in gamin mobile XT with no error.

Garmin Mobile XT was only ever designed to work on Windows Mobile, With a bit of mortscript help it can work on some Windows CE devices, but not all of them as Windows CE builds can vary greatly, even on similar hardware.

It's always a case of... "What software's right for the device, Not what's right for you." When unlocking/hacking devices.

Link in post #1 works just fine!
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.
