YES
connect to a garmin GPS and then I agree then go to about and get deviceID

When you make key with Jetmouse to SW.UNL

1. Are you sure make it for "Mobile XT" NOT "mobile PC" ??
2. Are you sure there is not .TXT extension ( SW.UNL.TXT )?? (hidden file extensions)

Did you save the SW.UNL as "all files" and NOT as ."txt"? You may have to delete the .UNL you created and create a new one.

Hello!,
I am new here an was reading this post and thought that you guys might be able to help me! I bought a dvd-gps entertainment unit for my mazda 6. This unit came with iGO8 installed but there is no map of my country for that application. I have found a map for Garmin and I was wondering if it was able for me to replace de iGO8 software for the Garmin Mobile XT on my unit. The unit came with SD card which is where the iGO8 software is currently installed. I tried putting the Garming Mobile XT folder inside de SD card but when I click de "NAVI" button on my head unit I get an error saying that it cannot find the path to where the iGO8 is installed meaning that this button is configured to open iGO. In conclusion I would like for you guys to help me with a step by step instruction as to how install the Garmin Mobile XT for my Mazda 6 unit if possible!. Thank you for the help! Please bear with me as I am new to this! Thanks again!!

Hello!

I saw a lot of posts for GARMIN unlocking problems. One of possible reasons: please check you card ID number, it must be of 10 digits. I tried to unlock my GARMIN but I didn't succeed whatever I did. I discovered that my card ID consisted only 9 digits (strange) and there was no problems to generate unlock codes. I changed the card with another one with ID of 10 digits and everything run now. I only have a problem with cut screen in 3D navigation mode (part of the picture on the screen is cut on the left side and stick to the right side). In 2D mode I have 2 grey strips on both sides of the screen i.e. not entire screen is used. I haven't seen solution for this by now.

Once more, digits of the ID number could be just one of the reasons that you can't unlock your GARMIN.

My device is GoClever 5066FMBT HD, 800x480 HD screen resolution with operating system Win CE 5. I run the version from the top of the thread.

Best regards

Not completely true. The SW.UNL goes into the root of the Garmin folder.

Rosen almost there with Garmin

Postby MrMike » Sat Apr 23, 2011 3:43 am

I've been searching for a copy of Garmin that will run on my Rosen Entertainment system I installed in my Prius. This is a CE 5.0 based machine and the file Garmin Mobile XT Storage Card runs well but fails to remember the settings. I have to keep changing the language.

I believe the problem is that the Rosen calls the SD card 'SD Memory", not SDMMC or Storage Card.

I loaded the explorer and tried to rename the "SD Memory" but, of course, can't.

Any help you could render would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks but the file didn't work.

I used Winhex to edit the Que.exe file and replaced the SDMMC with SD Memory and it runs very well now.

It still has a problem when you try to select a vehicle and goes "BONG!" and tells me I have to download new vehicles from Garmin. Then it's locked up and I need to reboot.

And the POIs are crushed when they're displayed.

But otherwise it runs well, I added an updated map and it reads it. Pretty nice copy overall.
