Just tested .unl file and locked map is working, thanx for help.
But anyway, I am curious why this unlocked file didn't work.

I tried to unlock Singapore Malaysia 2010.40 Malsing Maps taken from "http://download.garmin.com/sg/download/MapUpgrade/SgMyMal_2010.40_1350.exe" then extracted the .img file. I used v5.63 to unlock but i cannot do it. Can anybody unlock this map or am I having a bad day coz I've downloaded the .exe map 3 times from 2 different sources.

Thanks PiEtu, I finally did it. The download link you supplied goes to the same link as I put in " " in my question. (Sorry but I'm still learning how to post links in forums.) The 4th download did it. ..Could it be because I just installed cGPSmapper??

We have a problem with mapset name for non-latin code page after unlocking!
I am suspecting the matter in this quote from MapSetName.txt
Replace these characters like this:
д = „
Д = Ћ...
It is optional turning or warning???
Have one more question. What code page suit for read changing symbol in this file?

If you want use original mapset name do not use MapSetName.txt at all...
just empty first line or delete .txt file

Actually I need to use some maps on PC only. For example, I have this map [Please Register or Login to download file]
I do like below:
1. I take main file GMAPSUPP.IMG and put it inlocked directory.
2. Start this program
3. Copy the folder "Source" after unlocking in safe place and try to register with ZERO result: In MapSource I see white rectangle only.
Is there somebody who can suggest me what to do?

This is not marked for mapsource, that just make locked image to unlocked image thats all.

Use gmaptool to make image to mapsource read instructions....
