Garmin UnLocker Alternative v7.1.6 - (17.08.2012)

OK. First I use Garmin Unlocker to unlock this map. After I use gmaptool to register this map. I have following as the result:
Mapsource
- Mapsource opens this map without any warnings, but only white rectangle is visible with the scale >15 km. But when I try to see more detailed map (scale <= 15kg) some objects appear.
- BaseCamp opens this map, but i can see nothing apart from white rectangle.
Is it particular feature of this map? Or I do something wrong?

This is normal if you turn image to mapsource

A question about the MapSetName.txt:
I put VEU709L South Norway v11.50 as a string but the unlocked map reports VEU709L South Norway v11.50 v0.00
Where does the additional v0.00 comes from?
I've tried to figure out but did not succeed.

Open your original file with gmaptool and look info, that v0.00 not comes from unlocker

So I did:

File: D:/jono/garmin/MAP Locked/gmapsupp.img, length 1703411712
Header: 02.03.2010 11:04:31, DSKIMG, xor 00h
Mapset: VEU709L-South Norway (11.50)

Any explaination?

if you unlock it without MapSetName.txt (or empty first line) what is result then ?

gmaptool make own characters some times i do not know why (gmaptool is part of unlocker)

I always get this v0.00 at the end.
But anyway, not a big deal. I was just wondering if there was a clue regarding the MapSetName.txt and some version settings.

do you mean you always get that with that map or all map ?
today i test it with this North Norway, Jul 08 (VEU708L) (10.00) i do not get 0.00

i do not have this VEU709L-South Norway (11.50) version, so i cant test
it is good if you can share it?

Ok, i make test today, and unlock works
now i see what you mean 0.00, this is gmaptool maked header it change date also all map

The program is super.

Is there a way of keeping the source folder?

Reason I would like to be able to or try to put the source into Mapesource...
If I try GmapTool I get errors when trying to make an install for Mapsource after I have used your unlcker.

The new garmin unlocker alt v.6 does not seem to work. It says that it cannot create de map locked and map unlocked files, but is DOES create the files. Also the blue screen mentions no file.
