Hi, I don´t know if this is the place, but here I go: I got a new machine with AMD Ryzen 9 5950X with cores: 16 and threads: 32. When I tried to run Mapsource, it gives me an error. The error is refering to a cpu. So, what I did was going into bios, disable threads, save and reboot. Now, show cores: 16 and threads: 16. If I run Mapsource, runs flawlessly. I can do whatever I want and then exit in the proper way. So, I can´t go everytime that I need mapsource into bios, disable threads, reboot and run Mapsource. After that, go into bios, enable threads and reboot. Then, the question: is there a workaround for this?, like a command line into cmd that disable threads (from software), run mapsource with windows 7 in compatibility mode and when exit, restores the threads? Does mapsource have a command line that overrides threads? A mapsource patch the prevents that?
I hope you could help me.
Thanks in advance
P.S. I don´t want to use Basecamp.
