nüvi 2595LM

Totally new to this but I assume it's OK to ask for help, my target is to get Swedish topo map for the purpose I'm about to drive [Please Register or Login to download file] this summer.

My unit info:

Model: nüvi 2595
Hardware version: nuvi 2595 C2p2 i V6 8GB 128MB h TE
Program version: 8.30
GPS: 4.14.10
Bluetooth: 5.03 A15

I need some guidance, have read a lot but still a little confused :-)

Tx a lot, what is next step, can I just import it to my unit in some way, do I have to patch my unit first?
Pls be patient, I'm a newbe in this, still with okay computer experience, easiest to be done on a Windows PC or Linux machine, I prefer Linux but maybe not possible?

Your nuvi 2595 does not need to be Patched to use Unlocked maps.
You will need to use an SD card formatted FAT 32 for any extra maps as the City navigator Europe maps will have used all the internal storage.
Create 2 folder on the SD card Garmin & Map
For Garmin Topo Sweden v6 Pro
Garmin\sql\006-D6431-01.db
Map\gmapsupp.img
