Apologies for my error, thanks for sharing your solution.
I've also fixed the SD card Patch Kit

Hello, I have a Zumo 340LM on which only Central Europe maps are installed/updated and I would like to have them for the whole (or at least Eastern) Europe.
I assume I have to unlock them and patch the device, but I'm unable to find a patch for this hwid:
<Model>
<PartNumber>006-B1473-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>420</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>zūmo 340</Description>

Anybody done any work with a GPSMAP 67?
I've never had to use patched firmware for the topo maps I use, unlocking has always been sufficient on the various GPSMAP devices I have. But now, unlocked maps that work fine on 66sr do not authenticate on the 67. Also tried unlocked
and 1252 codepage maps but these don't work either. GarminDevice.xml is no longer a text xml file, it's either encrypted or encoded. Furthermore, I've read on a reliable source that you can no longer downgrade firmware versions.
If these changes spread to other models, is this the beginning of the end for Garmin map unlocking?

Apparently GPSMAP 67 with HWID 4336 also has encrypted firmware so cannot be Patched to use Unlocked maps, this was implemented some time ago.
Unlocked maps are still valid for devices without encrypted firmware.

Thanks for map. I have no problem with my old Oregon 550T, but my new Montana 700 have problems with this map. I know for security problems with Montana 700, but...is any solution how to put CN Europe in Montana 700 ? Thanks.

I moved your post as your problem has nothing to do with Maps, but your Montana 700 encrypted firmware

It seems that the Montana 7xx and the Gpsmap 67 can read JNX and personal IMGs without being patched, can you for those who have them, thanks.
Edit:
I have the Gpsmap67, after tests, it cannot read Garmin map files, even patched, (for example the Topo France V6) it can read IMG maps made from JNX files then saved in IMG with Jnx2img d 'Alex Whister, and read OSM maps.
It cannot read JNX files other than those from Garmin.
