Hello, I'm not looking for that, I connected the Garmin GPS to the express and I updated the software and took it to version 6.70, which stopped the touch from working. I want to reinstall version 5.90 to see if it is solved, thanks, drivesmart 50

If Garmin Express did this it is very strange, the DriveSmart 50 is only on 5.90
Check in C:\ProgramData\Garmin\CoreService\Downloads\PrimaryFirmware\PrimaryFirmware_PrimaryFirmware.006-B2267-00.5.90

Check in your garmindevice.xml what does it show

You are asking for the gmap folder so I assume you don't have LM maps for South America on this device.

I think the Bootloader is ok, bute the software is broken...

After Reset (no SD Card):

1. System Software Missing
2. Loader Loading

After Reset (withe SD Card and GCD File)

2. Loader Loading (1 Sec)
3. Sofware Loading

Can one help me please....?

Try using Cure3 with original firmware below.Do not format the internal storage, just come back here if it does not help.

For a few years newer device's firmware could be patched (determined by their HWID) to use unlocked maps, since the DriveSmart 65 the firmware has been encrypted on these later devices.
Unfortunately it looks like Drive, DriveSmart 52,55,65,66,71,76,86, zumo XT ,Alpha 200i, Montana 700 ,GPSMAP 67 & 67i are all in the same category.
No solution as the Universal Firmware Patcher does not recognise the new encrypted format.

Are they trying to be resolved?
I own a 67 and would like to be able to use City Navigator as well, I don't have to but it would help.

Older Devices like yours do not need to be Patched to use Unlocked maps.
It uses NT maps for Europe
