It does not require Patching to use unlocked maps
dezl 560 | 1269 | 390 | MAP: Yes | GMA: Yes | MSV: ------ | GVS: Yes | File: dezl560_GCDfile__390.gcd
Legend:
MAP: Yes - it verifies the presence of a valid unlock code, to unlock an .img you can simply use JetMouse keygen.
GMA: Yes - it verifies the FID limit (2200) and the presence of a valid *.gma, to unlock an .img you enough to use the old gimgunlock-0.03 (without MapSigPatch) or one of its derivative.
MSV: Weak - it verifies the validity of map signatures in a simple way, you can unlock an .img using gimgunlock-0.04 (without patching your firmware), but in case of Unicode maps (CP65001) you must modify the CP value.
MSV: Strong - it verifies the validity of map signatures more complicated way, in this case you need to patch your firmware and unlock an .img using any correct unlocker.
GVS: Yes - it verifies the validity of firmware signatures, you have to use Updater.exe to install the patched firmware for the first time.

Hi, could you please provide a patch for my device?

<PartNumber>006-B3547-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>2000</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>ECHOMAP UHD 92sv</Description>

I have tried to read and search but only finds dead links.

Is it correct that I need official firmware 16.10 from Garmin, use it to downgrade my device and then apply the patch?

Cannot authenticate maps

Postby sh985524 » Mon Feb 05, 2024 6:39 pm

Hi there
I found on this forum maps for garmin, TopoActive Africa North 2023 and TopoActive Africa South 2023.

No problems with downloading and viewable in BaseCamp (mapinfo says the map is unlockable. But when copied to SD-card in my oregon 750t my device tells me that it is unable to authenticate the maps. Putting them in my internal memory, the same problem exists.

What to do now, has anyone a solution for this?

Thanks in advance!

Is there a good place where to start some reading about all those BIN files/regions in GCD?

I would like to know what is already known, possible to do with them, any modifications allowed, how to make them.

Thanks for your help, but the link to the webupdater-patch-590 does not work. Can you help me?

And... when patched, my SW is now 6.00, is it no longer possible to update firmware by GarminExpress?

Thanks, in advance, Kind regards, Leon.

Changes made from version 5.30 to 5.90: 13th March 2021
Added support for the inReach Remote feature (Setup > ANT Sensor > inReach Remote).
Improved geocache proximity alarms.
Fixed page flow when clearing the current activity.
Fixed issue with updating the value displayed from a cadence sensor.
Fixed issue with programming a Chirp.
Fixed possible shutdown when sending a Quick Text from inReach Remote.

This is a Patched Firmware (JNX) for Garmin Oregon 7xx ver. 5.90
Since the Garmin Oregon 7xx (HWID: 2512) does not have GSV and falls into category 2 MSV: YES, GSV: ---
The Patched Firmware allows reading Unlocked Maps, including NTU and TOPO Maps with CP 65001.
The Patched Firmware allows reading of Birdseye JNX images as well.

Be sure to remove/back up all Birdseye images on the device before using the Patch, they can be restored after
This "Patched" Firmware can be loaded with WebUpdater

Please DO NOT use a PM to ask questions.
The Post you quote with 5.90 firmware could not make your device have 6.00 or unable to use GE to update but if you used this 1 yes that would be correct as that patch version is advanced to 6.02.
Using the "Thumbs up" button not only is a basic courtesy but helps to see what you have downloaded !

Welcome to the forum, using your HWID 2043 in search this topic is not easy so here it is

This board requires you to be registered and logged-in to view hidden content.

Make sure your device is fully charged.
Unpack contents to fresh SD card formatted FAT32
Ensure your device is fully OFF (not in standby), insert the card into your device and power on.
"Loader" will appear on screen for a while then the device will boot up when the flash of patched firmware is complete.
Your device may reboot its self during the process just be patient.

Your SD card will have a new file named 154.bin this is a backup of the device's non-volatile memory region and may save your device later if needed,so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.

Welcome to the forum.
The latest firmware available is 4.50 Garmin has advance what your device is displaying.
I suspect this is a newish purchase, Garmin has previously on other devices advanced the FW version to the next one in the garmindevice.xml so the current version 4.50 installed can't be over written/Patched.
[Please Register or Login to download file]
Using the two Patch tools we can advance the firmware version to 4.62 so WebUpdater will be able to update 4.60

Please use at your own risk, understanding I don't have this particular device to test .
