do someone has a firmware for SD?

Nuvi 2598 FW 5.50 HWID 1582
USB is broken so one hope is patch by SD Card.

I have just bought a Garmin Oregon 7xx. I put some maps onto a SD card which worked fine on my Oregon 400t, but are not recognised on this unit. I assume that I have to patch the firmware in order for the Oregon to recognise them. The firmware/software is the latest v6.00. Could one of you kind people explain how I patch this device, and provide links to the relevant software/firmware. Thank you in advance.

Thank you. I can confirm that my unit is a 2512. I downloaded the v6 Firmware, and followed these instructions: [Please Register or Login to download file] using the RGN and updater tools. All seems to have worked, but I have not yet tried any maps.

The unlocked Topo France v6 does work in my Basecamp but is not authentified by my device.
I have downloaded this file in order to solve this problem, but I don't know what to do with the .gcd file I got.

Try using your HWID 2087 in the "search this topic" and you will find a post with a working link
