Just use your HWID 2588 in search this topic you would have found the solution already.

The OP is nearly 10 years old, tell us what you want to achieve and on what device(HWID is important) as methods have move on a lot.

I don't think the Fenix's need patching if it's the same as the Fenix7
You probably need to unlock the maps with PGFT and change the code page to 1252 with ImgTool.
Give it a try

Thank you very much for your effort, but the patch doesn't seem to have worked.
I still can't install new maps.
By the way, it says software version 8.82.
That would be the last thing I wanted.

If your device is showing 8.82 then the Patched firmware is installed.
Patching is to allow the device to use shared unlocked maps.
Firmware versions are advanced to stop people accidently overwriting the Patched Firmware with the original 8.80 when using Garmin Express for other updates.
Your are not using the "Thumbs Up" button so we cannot see which maps you have downloaded.

Please do not use a PM to ask questions, that's what the forum is for and everyone can learn from the posts.

I have the 50 model with the same HWID and FW. But there is no result:

Code: Select all
Drive Software Version 6.10
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parsing "del,0:/.System/gupdate.gcd"
Error
Parsing "rrgn,154,2:/BUP_154.bin"
Success
Parsing "xrgn,14,2:/Garmin/Updater/2267/0E.bin"
Success
Parsing "xrgn,127,2:/Garmin/Updater/2267/7F.bin"
Success
Parsing "xrgn,158,2:/Garmin/Updater/2267/9E.bin"
Success
Parsing "reboot"

UPD: I noticed that the device was updated again and received firmware 6.12 according to GarminDevice.xml, but the device’s data still displays 6.10

Code: Select all
<PartNumber>006-B2267-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>612</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Garmin DriveSmart 50</Description>

How can I go back to 6.10 and patch it ?

So you are getting a an error message and you cannot use unlocked maps ?

Same as above : Firmware versions are advanced to stop people accidently overwriting the Patched Firmware with the original 6.10 when using Garmin Express for other updates.
