I have used the SD card patch, the chinese GPS now works without an issue with genuine garmin maps. Thank you, boss.

Would it be possible to apply the universal firmware patcher to a Garmin Alpha 100 already patched with Alpha regional limitation patcher?
Currently with version 8.60 installed on the machine.
If it is possible, how to do it correctly?
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum .
Assuming your device is HWID 1562 it does not need to be Patched as you can change the CP value on maps that are NTU

MSV: Weak - it verifies the validity of map signatures in a simple way, you can unlock an .img using gimgunlock-0.04 (without patching your firmware), but in case of unicode maps (CP65001) you must modify the CP value.

Alpha 100 | 1562 | 860 | MAP: Yes | GMA: Yes | MSV: Weak | GVS: --- | File: Alpha100_860.gcd

But here is the Patched firmware

Hi !

I have a BMW Motorrad Navigator V from Japan with software 2.40 which does not allow the use of other languages,
e.g. Polish, Czech, German. Adding folders with text does not change anything, there are only 3 languages to choose
from (Japanese, Chinese, American)

<PartNumber>006-B1982-C0</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>240</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>BMW Motorrad Navigator V</Description>

A friend has an identical BMW Motorrad Navigator V model in the European version but different software and
different HWID as below. Is it possible to change software 3.50 and install it from the card to the Japan version ?

<PartNumber>006-B1541-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>350</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>BMW Motorrad Navigator V</Description>

Please help, because Japanese or Chinese is difficult, changing to US helps a little, but the order of address selection
on European maps is still like in the US or China (first you enter the building number, only then the street)

Garmin_Alpha300 has gupdate.gsp firmware.
There is no patcher for it.

Interestingly, after flashing the firmware, the firmware version in the navigator itself is displayed as 4.50
The garmindevice.xml document displays the correct version as 4.62.
(checked on gpsmap 65 and gpsmap 65s)

Hi,
I have the same problem as with DeltaNl (the loader does not appear.) However, I have not tried garmincure3, but the computer can see the sd card (but I can only edit it in the card reader).
I don't know if there is a solution to the problem, but GarminNuvi master encouraged me on another forum to feel free to raise the issue. If you write that I shouldn't bother you with such amateurish questions, of course I understand that too.
Best regards:
