Thanks again for the useful help! I'm new in the world of gps patching so I'm gonna need some tips to catch up! I tried to patch with the file that GarminNuvi told me to download but Im geting the following error message:Processing file C:\Users\George\Desktop\GUPDATE_Patched_JNX.GCD

Firmware version as specified in GCD file: 8.62 for Alpha 100.
Firmware name: Software Version 8.62 for Alpha 100.

Pattern not found.

Some devices require you to simply copy the file UPDATE.GCD (Rename it if needed) to the garmin folder on the internal storage and when you boot it asks to update(all mine do anyway)

Just tried but it doesnt made any sense for me!I need to start from the beginning!with the jnx patcher but I dont know where to download and which version to patch it with the patcher!In thw beginning it says wrong birdseye file.It must be cracked before the update cause I bought it yesterday!

It looks like you are using the JNX patcher on the already Patched firmware I directed you to.

Download and unpack GUPDATE_Patched_JNX.GCD on to the PC where your device is attached.Your desktop is easy

Then you can drag-and-drop GUPDATE_Patched_JNX.GCD onto the WebUpdater "Short cut icon" on your desktop.
