Anyone successfully unlocked a 2567LM model? I'm testing an older 1390 too, its been ages I played around unlocking, any advice is appreciated!

There are a few versions of the nuvi 2567 check your HWID in the garmindevice.xml found in the Garmin folder
<Model><PartNumber>006-B1517-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>540</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>nüvi 2567</Description></Model>

The 1390 uses unlocked NT maps only the 2567 uses both NTU & NT maps both do not normally require Patching.
The map unlock tool today is Gimgum but just download UN maps

Thanks for the information, much appreciated.

Below is the HWID for my device.
<PartNumber>006-B2587-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>600</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Garmin Drive 61</Description>

Is there a way to do a patch myself or need a kind person well experienced?

Also, what shall be the folder structure of SD card once the patch is created?

Thanks in advance

Yes there is a way to do it yourself, but the kit has already been made and the questions you would have on the learning path for DIY would be many and the chance of "Bricking" your own device is High.

SD card Patch Kit Drive 61 (2587) fw6.00.rar

Make sure your device is fully charged.
Unpack contents to fresh SD card formatted FAT32
Ensure your device is fully OFF (not in standby), insert the card in device and power on.
"Loader" will appear on screen for a while then the device will boot up when the flash of patched firmware is complete.
Your device may reboot its self during the process just be patient.
Your SD card will have a new file named 154.bin this is a backup of the device's non-volatile memory region and may save your device later if needed,so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.

Missed your post as you included so much unrelated info.
Not sure if you mean Drive 51 as I've never heard of a nuvi 51.

The best Thread for this would be

Look in the Garmin folder for garmindevice.xml open it with note pad and find your HWID then someone can really help you.Tell us what maps and where you got them from.

Garmanman, Thank you for your help and providing the links too the programs I need. However, when I click on any of the three links I am redirected too Mega and there are no files available for download. I am a member of Mega. Am I doing something wrong? Once again any help would be much appreciated.

The forum hyperlinks cause an issue with Mega's end to end encryption so you need to right click and "copy link address and paste it into your browser ,delete everything before [Please Register or Login to download file] .
If you have a paid account great, but if you have a free one you might see you have used up your quota, just log out of Mega and download without logging in.
Use the latest WinRar for hassle free unpacking.

Once again, many thanks GarminNuvi. I was able to download the three files, the third link "nuvi65_66_560_Patched.gcd & Nuvi 65-66 (1749) fw5.60.SD card Patch kit"
is the same file "RGNTOOL" as in the second link. Am I missing something again ? I do have ample space in my Mega account. Sorry to keep bugging you but I would love to get my Garmin 65 to accept unlocked maps. Right now it is locked to U.S.A. maps and I live in Canada.

Check in your garmindevice.xml that your HWID is 1859 if confirmed read the following
GPSMAP 64 | 1859 | 550 | MAP: Yes | GMA: Yes | MSV: Weak | GVS: --- | File: GPSMAP64_WebUpdater__550.gcd

MAP: Yes - it verifies the presence of a valid unlock code, to unlock an .img you can simply use JetMouse keygen.
GMA: Yes - it verifies the FID limit (2200) and the presence of a valid *.gma, to unlock an .img you enough to use the old gimgunlock-0.03 (without MapSigPatch) or one of its derivative.
MSV: Weak - it verifies the validity of map signatures in a simple way, you can unlock an .img using gimgunlock-0.04 (without patching your firmware), but in case of unicode maps (CP65001) you must modify the CP value (see the Temporary authentication of Unicode maps*).
