Working without problems with 276cx

This FW hasn't MSV or GVS. For what you want to patch it?

No 3xxx nüvi is protected because thy arrived market before summer 2014.. Read Post #1 carefully before beginning.

I was believing that we was speaking about GPSMAP 276Cx and you have sent another firmware which has no need of patching as described above !

Earlier quote was from another member, but your are right, the 37xx has no need for firmware patch. Just unlocked the new map with the Protected Garmin file toolkit and it worked.

For a nuvi 2589LMT, I see no GUPDATE.GCD or FW_ALL.BIN in the .System folder.
Looking in the FW_list I see as: nuvi 25x9 | MAP: Yes | GMA: Yes | MSV: Yes | GVS: Yes |
What would be a summarized procedure?

You have to try to reinstall the firmware with Garmin Express or Webupdater this will create the GUPDATE.GCD file if does not exist on your device!

Reinstalled the Map with Garmin Express, but I still don't have that .gcd file in .System.
I had no other option in Garmin Express to reinstall, only the map.

Thanks first of all,
Reinstalled software with WebUpdater and it generated the GUPDATE.GCD file.
Opened it with the patcher, but I get the same error as I got when I was trying to patch for the other GPS (which was not needed in the end).
