Most likely, you haven't completely unlocked the chart.
You can post your chart in the 'New Maps' section of this forum and I'll try to unlock it completely ;)
I want someone to patch the software with version 6.80 and if it works then I also agree to post a new map, no problem.

No Patch available as answered before.

Only one link (the first one) works for me, the rest of the links from your list are broken.

I decided to put the firmware back 3.80 unpatched and now it works but I will see it on several hikes and several days if it is confirmed.

Today : In fact I was a bit quick after putting the unpatched firmware back, today the Galileo satellites are blinking and has nothing to do with the patch.

Apparently firmware 3.8 has been [Please Register or Login to download file] for gpsmap 65s that help to fix this situation.
Available via garmin express. How can I have the .cgd file to patch?
edit: find the way, original 3.8 firmware file for gpsmap 65s [Please Register or Login to download file] .
Is it possible to someone to patch it? I only have mac machine available.

File 3.80 for 65s patched : [Please Register or Login to download file]

WARNNIG : Before changing the firmware it is important to save the GPS information with [Please Register or Login to download file] which then allows if problem to restore all the content of the GPS.

If you have an earlier version of the firmware, no problem, you have to download the patched GUPDATE.GCD file (rename it if necessary to GUPDATE.GCD) and connect your 65s to a computer and place the GUPDATE.GCD file in the Garmin folder of the 65s, disconnect your 65s from the computer and turn it on, it will offer to update it, which you will do.

If you have the latest version 3.80 already installed, you must go back to an earlier version otherwise, the latest version will not be taken into account, because it is already installed, for this you must do as described above, be careful however, you will lose all , your tracks and activities, before proceeding with a downgrade of the firmware, it is necessary to make a backup of the GPS.

When you will have installed the new version 3.80 you will tell me if this has improved the management of the Galileo satellites, that interests me because I have a 66sr which has the same problem of flashing of the satellites and for the moment Garmin does not make any modification of the firmware even after writing several times to the technical service.

The latest version is 4.00 if you haven't loaded the latest version, you do it but without disconnecting the 65s from the computer, then you go to the Garmin folder of the 65s and you will find the GUPDATE.GCD file, you copy this last one and put it aside, then you delete it from the 65s so that it does not update.
You patch it up and put it back in the 65s, that's it.

If you have loaded the last version you have to go back to 3.80 or earlier, at startup the 65s will ask you if you agree to downgrade your 65s you answer yes, but above all save all your files before proceeding with the downgrade.
Once downgraded you put the new GUPDATE.GCD patched in the 65s and then you update.

version 4.00 Patched and patched firmware for JNX, At your own risk ... : [Please Register or Login to download file]

Unfortunately it looks like there is only the B291100.update, no GUPDATE.GCD for this Patcher to fix.

Yes, mine is B349100.update
I tried to rename it to GUPDATE.GCD and patch it, but patcher cant recognize the format.

So the only way to install Europe maps is to buy them from Garmin for 99$?

Thank you, I saw you posted the SD patch kit for drivesmart 61 with HWID 2588, same as mine
Quick question: as long as the HWID is the same, can I simply transfer your kit to my device?
in the future, if there is new firmware update, do I need to request a new kit from you? (if you are free and available that time? :-)
Is software patch method using FirmwarePatcher380 still working?

Thank you.

HWID is what defines the compatible Patch ,use the wrong Patch & most likely brick your device. :022:
Don't chase updates, most likely they don't relate to your device, like the changes made from version 6.20 to 6.30:
Fixed support for Garmin HuntView Plus on Garmin DriveTrack 71.

You can use the previous method to patch, but finding Pre-boot mode can be challenging, using an SD card kit is simple as long as you read & follow the installation instructions.
There will always be a trusted member to make kits for those that request them within a day.

DriveSmart 61 006-B2588-00 Release 6.30 [Please Register or Login to download file]

DriveSmart 61 FW 6.30 HWID 2588 ONLY
This board requires you to be registered and logged-in to view hidden content.

Make sure your device is fully charged.
Unpack contents to fresh SD card formatted FAT32
Ensure your device is fully OFF (not in standby), insert the card in device and power on.
"Loader" will appear on screen for a while then the device will boot up when the flash of patched firmware is complete.
Your device may reboot its self during the process just be patient.
Your SD card will have a new file named 154.bin this is a backup of the device's non-volatile memory region and may save your device later if needed,so keep a copy of it somewhere safe.
