Hi djc, great to see you on this new web site after the debarcle of the old one !

Anyhows, I've always used Albert's EasyActivator for my maps etc, but i've never been able to patch my tthome.dll file,
every time i select the location against my GO730 it just crashes EasyActivator ??
Any ideas ... it's no great shakes to me, but I miss not being able to emulate my GO730 through TT Home

Cheers
John

Confirm that you are downloading the .dll file before running EA5 "Patch my Home DLL".

Download the tthome.dll ?? Where from
When I use EasyActivator towards the bottom I select to 'patch my tthome', it then open the usual explorer window and I select the long name against my GO730
But are you saying I should be downloading a file instead ??

Also, I tried installing 4.1D but all my machines have McAfee running and they all remove the exe files as a virus before I can even tell it that the file is ok on this occasion

What tendriver means is, before you try to patch tthome you must first connect to tthome click "operate my device" and let tthome download a few small files the home .dll is 1 of them files, now you can patch tthome .dll ;)

Try to command your TomTom via TTHome. If the navcore is patched (as you did if you use a new map) TTHome will ask you to download some new file. These are the dlls to be patched again to command your TT via TTHome. The dll are located here in your machine (WinXP):
C:\document&settings\username\applicationdata\tomtom\home\profiles\xxxx.default\extensione\Navcore9.26...@tomtom
