FastActivate Latest Update

Hi all,

It's not my first time, I've already used Fastactivate tool to activate maps and it was working well.
I've a Tomtom One (1st gen.) and I want to install Europe_South_1GB_1011_8979 (compatibility is okay).

I've pasted the map in SD Folder
Then I run FastActivate: (v.25/03/2018)
- 1 Updating meta.txt file (25/03/18)
- 2 Tried patch maps (.dct error) then I've tried with renamming file in META.txt and activate but the error is still present.

Could you help me please?

EDIT: I may found my solution. I think the meta code isn't available yet. I'm downloading Europe_1GB_South_1011_9046 and I'll try with this map.

It makes more sense to check there is a meta code available before you download a map.

They can be found in two places:

1. In a file called Updated_meta.txt which you've already got & renamed after using FastActivate option 1
2. In the following link:

topic20611.html

Btw, don't bother with Europe_1GB_South_1011_9046...there's no meta code available for that either

Yes you're right. The meta code isn't available for 8979 but I've found the meta code for 9046 in "Meta Codes 1010 /1011"'s topic.

So I'll not be able to activate it with Fastactivate?


EDIT: You was right, still .dct error cause meta isn't available.

I've tried to rename map and meta file to activate it but it doesn't works. I'll wait for available meta codes.

The map and meta code must match exactly because the following are two different maps:

Europe_South 1011_9046
Europe_1GB_South_1011_9046

I doubt that the meta code you're looking for will turn up unless somebody buys it and donates it to the community so I recommend you download Poteo_Roke's coverage document on the following page:

topic20675.html

The document will show you the last map that DOES have a meta code (Europe_1GB_South 995.8511) or you can use it to find an alternative map

Seems like the host that FastActivate is on is also having issues. I've tried about 8 times in succession to obtain the FastActivate and each time I receive this message

Can’t reach this page
• Make sure the web address ftp://FastactivateDownloadOnly2017:Fast ... l.nl:47474 is correct

Any help in resolving this one would also be welcome.

The usual server is down for a while so I've created a new link...try it again

Bear in mind that FA will not update due to the server issue, so just use it for map activation

Is the version on the front page the official FA version? Symantec tripped it as Heuristics Virus, and VirusTotal online shows it to include Trojans by five different vendors.

ALL these are False Positives! Many of us have been using this tool for many years with no problems whatsoever.

I wonder if some kind soul could point me in the direction of a Fastactivate link please. I have tried half a dozen highlighted links in various posts but they all return the error 'Topic Doesnt Exist' or something similar.

Hi, successfully activated UK and Ireland 1025_9386 using the integral meta list, I have tried to activate UK and Ireland 1045_100001 with the meta code supplied and get dct error. I have a rider v2 running latest navcore 9.510 and bootloader 55012 and 32gb sd card. I have created a text document and named it meta.txt and put new meta code in it ,but still no joy. Fast activate does not update meta lists any more so any help would be grateful.

Not true...download a fresh copy of FastActivate from post #1 and select option 1, it will update the meta codes to include the latest 1045 series

Secondly, editing meta.txt will only work IF you know how to format it properly...your best bet is to delete it and let FA create a new meta.txt file for you
