Especially for users in countries with limited or no sources of digital maps this will be handy.
You have to get used to the settings and play around a bit, but you will get maps of a good quality out of it!

Special attention for downloading big areas :
Google is well known for blocking IP adresses from users that download a large number of tiles in a short period of time.
So if you have a static IP and must download huge areas try to use a proxy!
