Guide to Binatone devices

Postby fredddy » Fri Sep 14, 2012 4:05 pm

Please skip the last post. Now up and running and nearly there. The problem was that I kept getting the Bin** opening screen. After I pressed settings it went to the SD card.
Once again thanks for the patience.

Still on the Journey but it just got shorter.

Which part of the device do you want to change, the shell, original GPS software or the wince vote?

Password for both archives: http://www.navitotal.com

I have successfully downloaded Pri24BD but the password doesn't work when using Express Zip to extract the content.

Has the password changed ?

Have now succeeded with extraction by using 7-Zip without the need for a password ??

Normally when I have to re-upload something, I change the archive slightly, so it's hash is different, otherwise it just gets deleted from the host again, I may forget to set a password occasionally. I always use winrar to create archives.

I must thank you for the PRI24BD package Fatboyfun. After days of unsuccessful downloads and installation attempts, you have given me iGO Primo for my F350 !

Ive managed to install igo primo onto the f350. I got an error message "program memory is low".
So i put the memory fix stuff(SETM and SHELL) onto the card and put it into the device. A message popped up that the memory issue had now been sorted and i could delete the files. So i deleted the files, put the card back into the f350 started the navigation BUT the "program memory is low" error message returned.

Any help plzzz?

It may be an anomaly on your device that the memory fix is not working, point the shell.ini to \windows\control.exe and reboot, open the system applet, go to the memory tab and see where the slider is, it should be towards the left, if it's in the middle then drag it leftwards, change the shell.ini back and reboot back to primo.

It does not exist means the manufacturer never released it, you can try other ROM's but I very much doubt any will work.

What did you do to the device?
