No problem :)

Hello,

I have purchased a binatone F430 with the idea of installing Igo Primo with USA maps on for my parents who are visiting the USA in a couple of months. I want them to be able to use it in the uk also so I have used a 4gb Micro SDHC card and installed Primo2, set up with the shell.ini file and all seems good. Then when I take out the Micro SDHC card it runs as normal. I think all is well but I see on here a few problems mentioned, i.e. some device dont work with an SDHC Card, does that mean they are not recognised or they make the system unstable? My parents are not the best with tech so I want to keep it as simple as possible but I was wondering if this is the right way of doing it, or should I completely take off the binatone software but keep igo primo stored on two cards, one for the uk and one for the states. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I have been searching the net for the past week and seem to be seeing lots of people saying many conflicting things. This seems to be the easiest to follow forum with people that actually understand what they are talking about and helping each other.

Also, would it be worth me changing to the voxtel firmware?

Alex.

On earlier devices SDHC cards weren't seen by the system, on newer devices like yours they work.
Yes is it the right way of doing it.
Leave the original software installed as backup software.
I'd put the USA and UK maps on the same card.
Leave the firmware alone.

Sounds like you did everything right!

I can provide the following ROM's on request...
Uploaded on request, Please allow up to 48hrs for the link!

If your device is not listed here then it's unlikely the ROM is available!

Please note, I have NOT personally tested every ROM set here!
I also don't know what WinCE version you will end up with!

A430 is a mix up between the A350 and B430 ROM files!

Hi Fatboyfun I am looking for the rom for my a430 if you can help.

Thanks.

Here are the A350, B350 and B430 Roms, You have to take the B430 drivers and the A350 files to make a A430 ROM, however i can't remember which A series ROM works, so i just uploaded all of them.

Follow the flashing instructions in post #1, if after a successful flash it fails to boot, try the other ROM.

When you find a working combination let me know and i'll actually make a note of it.

Hi Fatboyfun
I'm new to this forum and want to update my Binatone T430 and was following your treat from the 06.06.13.
I would like to download the "iGO Primo 2.0 For higher powered devices" link but even after clicking "Tanks" button it doesn't appear and don't refresh my page... maybe something I do wrong...
can you help me?
Cheers Nikemalt

You need to refresh the page yourself, it doesn't happen automatically.

hi i cant seem to get by the start up on the binatone b350 because its comming up ,,failed to load language resource file

Is this an iGO error? If it is, have you got languages installed in the content\lang folder?

I have IGO Primo 2 up and running on Binatone F460, the only issue seems to be that I cannot get TMC messages. Should I be able to and if yes what are the key components to make it work?

Thanks

Colin
