Tomtom Navigator 6 is years out of date.

This is normal for Tomtom.

Try using the guide and links from post #1
However the X350 can be a pain with other software...

Good luck with that!

It's far easier to install and run iGO on your device, than it is to buy updated maps from [Please Register or Login to download file] lame excuse for a website!

Am not very technical - is it very easy to do? And if I make a ball's up will the satnav be knackered?

No, it's easy and 100% reversible, Read post #1 in this thread...

There are plenty of how-to threads here as well, Use the search function.

With all that is going on in the file sharing community at the moment, some links will be dead!

I have just purchased a Binatone F350 UK.

It states that it takes Micro SD memory cards. Does that mean I will be able to use SDHC cards?

Thank you for your assistance.

I have no idea, the earlier binatone's couldn't despite there being a sdhc.dll in the windows directory, are you able to try one before buying one?

Hi guys

Im new here, Im just dropping by to say, awesome work Fatboyfan and all you guys doing this site, thanks a lot!

My first encounter with Binatone Satnavs was a X350 UK that Ive managed to use in NZ with iGO8, ever since then Im quite keen this brand and find it pretty good to work with. I have a GSM shop (buy-sell-repair) but we also have some Satnavs in. Right now the list of Binatone Satnavs that I own as follows:

X350
A350
A430 (Western EU)
B350
B430
F430
G350
G500
T340
T430
T430 Camera (completely different model from the standard T430)

All these are in working order (apart from the T430 camera, that is yet to fixed), so would you guys need like the original file structure of these, or indeed anything that you would need me to test-out on these, Im happy to help and try to assist you with anything that I can owning these in working order.

I also have like a pile of not-working B350's (about 10 of them with different errors), Definitely seems to be the most unreliable model of them all (I would honestly rather buy an old X350 or A350 2nd hand of ebay for a bag of peanuts, than a b350 new) Im planning to fix these soon, so maybe we could work on those together as well.

Im more of a hardware guy tho, been changing lcd's and/or touchscreens (digitizers) on a few of these Binatones as well (there is a guy in China, you make nice hi-res pictures of your broken digitizer or lcd, give him the measurements and he sends a replacement) so if you ever smash your screen with the glove compartment's door (as it is the case most of the time) dont throw it away, you can still fix it pretty easy.

Right so quite chaotic first post, but hey, at least you know what Im about, and hope to share/swap/find out some good Binatone info together. Cheers!

They take MicroSD. According to the user-quide, and from looking at the size of the slot.

MicroSD cards are 2GB and below
MicroSDHC cards are larger than 2GB

An SDHC reader will read both types while a SD reader can't read SDHC, These can sometimes be upgraded with firmware but not always.
