Sorry for my lack of knowledge but what is mortscript launcher? and where i can find it. Some of the files are not downloadable from first post. Also the flash memory seems to be corrupt as i am not able to delete one file from the internal flash. Does that mean that i have to reflash the whole device? If so please suggest me what file should i use for Z430BT?

Just to clearify my confusion \SDMMC\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe means i have to make additional folder that is named SDMMC and move all the tomtom stuff to that folder?

The mortscript launcher you could get from my mortscript thread, however not many devices needed it.
If you are using activesync to browse the device it does lock down system files from deletion.
SDMMC is what your device calls the SD card, you do not need to make such a folder. Think E:\ on your pc.

what i did was i tried to put the files of tom tom in the internal flash memory and deleted the MobileNavigator (older one and replaced by TOMTOM one) folder from the internal flash. The navigation button when the device start is not launching by clicking it. I also tried the SD card and still not detecting it. The same SD card works on my T430. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm new to the forum.

I have a Binatone A350 which seemed to be frozen on start up screen. On reading this forum, I have managed to flash a Carrera 350 ROM from an SD card which does install when pressing the sleep button on starting. I then downloaded iGo 8 and installed it on to an SD card as well and it works well.
However, my problem is that when I switch the sat nav off, it does not boot up again itself unless I press the sleep button and it goes through the whole update process again.
Any ideas why it won't boot up on it's own??
Been trying so many things I'm not sure what else to do. At least it works, which is better than nothing and I like the iGo program.

Wrong rom probably, the power button may not wake up the hardware. Is there a switch on the back?

Yes, there's an on/off switch on back but when I use that it doesn't boot up. Though you can hear sounds and when I press the screen it makes a tapping noise, but the screen is blank. The only way to get it to start is to press the Sleep button for about 20 secs on start up and it reboots from the SD card, which takes a few minutes. Maybe I need to get the proper ROM from somewhere and try that. As I say at least it works now though, as before it was completely frozen.

I have rom's, I'll try and get one uploaded later...

Any idea why I'm not getting a GPS fix on my B430 using Primo when the COM port and baud rate are set correctly? I know the unit can see the satellites using built in tool.

What does primo say up the top of the map screen?

It says "Looking for GPS signal", and when I tap the satellite icon the screen shows 0 available satellites.

Are you moving when trying to get a satellite lock?

How long have you given it, it can take anything up to 30 minutes for the first lock, obviously being stationary and outside will help.

I left it on the lounge windowsill last night for at least two hours (until the battery went dead), I know the unit can see and obtain locks on at least half a dozen satellites from there but it never changed from "Looking for GPS Signal..."

Also, I have three identical units and have the same issue with all of them. Odd thing is I know it used to work.
I'm gonna try re-loading the original sys.txt file I downloaded with the iGo software, and perhaps try another SD Card.

Did you use the unlocking instructions and software from this guide?

My B430 with Primo has gotten a bit slow to lock onto satellites recently.
