All you do is copy the files from the map archive to the relevant folders as shown in the "Where to put Map files" thread.

Hi, Ive got a Binatone B350 running iGO Primo 2. The auto power off function when external power is disconnected works on my device and I was just wondering if there was any way I could get it to auto-power on when external power is reconnected?

Thanks in advance.

Every binatone I've seen (including my B430) does this by default.

Hmmm, weird. My B350 doesnt seem to do it (just tried again). When I remove the power, iGO gives the power off message and puts it to sleep, but when I plug it back in the red charging light comes on but it doesnt wake :( Any suggestions?

Cheers

Honestly, no, what is the history of the device? ie, ebay, ROM flash...

As far as I can remember, it was bought new and hasn't been reflashed or anything. Only modifications i've made are through using the SD to make it run iGO.

I don't know, and it's not an easy job to make it happen if the device doesn't support it, my guess is a hardware revision, although try turning it off/on with the switch not the button and using the reset to factory option in the menu.

Postcodes are sometimes off a bit, the good thing with iGO is you can use another providers mapset, ie tomtom (used to be teleatlas) and navteq, I find tomtom maps are more accurate but navteq maps have less missing roads etc

POI files need to be kml format, and go in \\content\userdata\poi you don't need an icon, although it is possible to use one but it needs a bit of work.

Use poiedit (freeware) to convert from ov2 etc

Hi Zeus9876,
I had the same problem but managed to find a link on the redirected page that it sends you too so try:
scroll down and click on link to download from FC (Fichier) : then click on the file address / link on that page and it should work.
good luck.

I am currently working on some F350s and F430s, primo2 software in the dataflash folder and maps etc on the SD card. No problem with 4 GB sdhc card despite some reports that it doesn't work.
Problem I'm having is on some devices I get the low memory crash, I have tried the mem fix from post 1 but no help, I have tried a 1GB sd card with only maps still crashes.
What is strange is that it is only on some devices that I get the problem. On the devices where it does work it works fine.
Any suggestions.

It looks like there has been some "revisions" since the guide was written, I haven't got my hands on one of these yet...

Try going into the WinCE control panel and adjusting the memory division manually...
Currently sleeping...

Hi, I have a G430 which is stuck on the boot screen, am I right in thinking that i could get a copy of the rom for either this model or the x430 on an sd card and reflash the unit?

If so would I be able to grab a link off you to enable me to do this?

Many thanks
