I don't know, Turbodog was removed within an hour of purchase from my device.

It really is that bad!

What did you use instead? Is it downloadable?
I've not had any problems per se with it apart from being unable to add the LPG POIs. Oh and every time I get to a 90degree bend in the road it tells me to turn left or right, as if you need to be told to follow the road duh!

Have a good read of post #1

iGO primo runs well on the F series, which is one of the newer breeds.
You can prepare everything on a SD card so you don't modify the device itself, and you can undo everything by removing the card.

Honestly, everything is so complicated. All want is to find gas stations. How come no-one can help me? Everything on this site is so messy and hard to find. I've been jumping from one topic to another to download this file or that file, doing exactly as they say and none of it works properly. At one point I had about 15 different windows open trying to download the necessary files. Most of the links don't work or the sites are full of adware and pop-unders. And then you have to say "thanks" before you can even see the links, let alone find out if the info is even worth saying thanks for. I don't want to say thanks for leading me round in circles for two days. All I've got to show for two days work is a big fat zero. Time wasted = at least 10 hours. Yeah right "thanks"!

@sportston

If things are so complicated, then you can ONLY blame yourself for making it so. I can understand your frustration but we deal with thousands of people daily so your understanding must be paramount. All over the site are posts by the mods here saying that TomTom is NOT suggested for any WinCE. Plus there are numerous posts made by the mods AND members stating that TT for WinCE 6 is too difficult and complicated for any member to try to install and use. Instead of posting a problem, you should be searching to see if that problem has already been addressed. The reason a thanks is necessary prior to a download is to try and protect the links a little longer. Uploading and re-uploading is a PITA. This is also why we ask the members to make mirrors but only a few actually help in this regard. When someone downloads something they should instantly make an upload so the links stay active longer. If you are having trouble downloading something then you should ask how to properly proceed. Obviously you are trying to download incorrectly. For any WinCE , you should be looking at the iGO section.

We are all unpaid volunteers here trying to help others. To take shots at us is unwarranted.

EDIT: Fatboyfun gave you good advice in post #273. Did you follow it?
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.

Because there is a workaround, but it creates more problems than it solves, but some users are so obsessed with tomtom they will put up with it.

I would rather you had a reliable device that you can use everyday.

Trust me, once you've tried iGO primo, you'll realise just how bad Turbodog is.

I'll check the links later, the b series was available in ce 5 and ce 6.

Check the guide to find out how to tell which one you have.

Hi,,

I am also relatively new. However make sure you click on Thanks button at bottom of page. Then you will see all links to download. Once downloaded password is http://www.navitotal.com

I manage to install IGO primo or IGO 8 on my Binatone.

hope that helps
