Yes, but you need to find out what it is, the easiest way to do this is to set it manually using the wince control panel...

\windows\control.exe

And copy the data from the registry into the script

Thank´s again.
I know that, this a China´s Multimedia 2DIN.
I put time in the correct way but when I turn on TT, oppss! time changes to 3 hours more.
I´ve tried to correct the regedit (time) with a program, but it´s impossible.
With your script it´s better, because before the difference was 11 hours less.
If you can help me to correct this.

Kleobis

Yes I can help, can you access the wince control panel? You can run \windows\control.exe, then go to the date and time applet.

Hello Fatboyfun.

Can you help me?
I am looking for a script to change your universal shell a bit. I want the script to start up my daily used Primo 2.4 unless I press a key on start-up, let's say within 1-2 seconds, what then would activate the normal shell. That way, powering on the device would automatically start up Primo (which happens most of times anyway) while pressing the key would give me (thanks to the shell) the possibility to start a different program when I need or want.

I think it's not that difficult, just for me :022:

Thanks in advance

It's not that difficult, but it's not going to be easy either.

Mortscript doesn't read hardware buttons, so you would have to use an on screen button, you could use the system information app for this, but this would require writing from scratch.

Hi to all, I am Mauri from Italy.

I ask a question:

How can I copy files within the WinCE 6.0 "Windows" folder, using, for example, a simple script make with MortScript.exe?
Example using the "XCopy" command ....

In essence, I have to create a new virtual COM port (VCP COM port) enough on the FTDI FT232RL (USB to TTL) chip.
To do this, I have to copy the 3 files .dll, .inf, and .reg to the "Windows" folder of WinCE.
After that, they launch the .inf file (such as ??? procedure ???) in theory, in the end I should have a virtual COM in WinCE 6.0, which with USB to TTL hardware, and then after TTL to the TMC receiver, I wanted to exploit this To add a TMC receiver hardware to my 2 Din Chinese, and use Igo Nextgen WinCE for TMC.
With electronics and hardware I should not have problems, I can invent the device (I hope) but have no clear idea of how I can create a virtual COM port in WinCE in my 2Din unit.
Maybe I use the SD where I swing Nextgen rather than USB output (USB unit which supports USB mass storage, but the specifications of the 2 din write ONLY USB output suitable for multimedia like mp3-mp4 and video files).
:bs_quesexclaim:

Thanks to all. :023:

Hello everyone, looking for help here...hopefully

The question:
Is there any chance someone could provide me with a link to a working upload of the MortScript-4.0RC9.zip file? I got my Tomtom Navigator chinese PNA finally working, customized it a bit to my prefereneces and now I would like to be able to use TT Navigator on WinCE 6.0

The background...in case anyone wants to know more :) :
I know all the problems that come along with, I made my TT Navigator working and it accepted a map of my choice it and if I ever gonna find my old WinCE 5.0 install CD I will swap that OS to have a more suitable base for the Navigator... but I have no idea where it is. Been using Navigator since version 5 (got the original SD card with the Bluetooth GPS module Tomtom used to sell optionally with it) and been using that SW for years. Later I got myself a TT Go920 which until last week worked fine. For years I create my own itinerary files to drive along them and the last Tomtom is a PITA to use for me. Not to mention the complicated process of importing custom ITN files. And that left me with a chinese PNA that I converted into my hopefully to be TT Navigator replacement :) If Tomtom would have continued with the Navigator or at least the style of it I would have bought it. But they did not. And as much as I like modern things this is one of those things I like to keep simple and easy to work with.

The thank you at the end of the story:
Thank you

PS: Yes, I know the last entry here was in 2017 :)
