Are there any android driving apps that can change a route by dragging around similar to Google maps on desktop?

Preferably free, and with the option of saving the route once done.

I know many apps will allow you to add waypoints, but that doesn't always work. The router on some apps just detours you to the waypoint and then guides you back to the original path, so you have to add many waypoints along your new path to force it.

Google maps allows you to send a custom route to your android phone from a desktop if you use the same account, but it means having to carry a PC around with your phone. Not very practical. Drag to re-route is also disabled on android browsers for Google maps for some reason. Finger gestures on the route just move the map.

try oruxmaps with the brouter function enabled... works a treat... and you can build maps for free using MOBAC..
