Question about supported Garmin devices

Hi. Do you maybe have a forum thread or some kind of list of which Garmin Nuvi and DriveSmart devices are supported with manual map updates? Like those NT and NTU maps we get every quarter. Currently, I have Garmin Nuvi 255w and I can update maps when I add Europe East and West NT version on SD card. If I purchase new DriveSmart 66 for example and I don't have unlimited free map updates, I can't update maps anymore, right?

I would rather purchase an older Garmin navigation, if it means it is cracked and supported with free map updates.

If you have this list of devices, I would really appreciate it. Also, when it comes to smooth user interface etc., which Garmin device would you recommend? I was looking into DriveSmart 66.

Thanks.

All the latest devices have Lifetime Map updates for the region they are sold in, so don't buy a DS66 from the US because it is cheaper and expect to be able to use unlocked maps for Europe.
