Can I replace the maps on Toyota Navigation

Postby nass_a_b » Wed Jun 13, 2012 10:05 am

Hello All,
I am wondering if there is a way to replace the maps on a Toyota Navigation DVD with other maps?

I have Navteq maps for Jordan. And I have an original USA navigation DVD on my toyota camry. So i want to add the navteq maps to the DVD I already have.

Can anyone help?

Today I downloaded the E14 (2009) Europa map.
I extracted the mds and burn it (1x speed) successfully with ImgBurn.
Result: "cannot read data"

Just guessing here. But could this be some sort of license issue?
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

I'm a mod for the iGO section here. In order for the program to read maps it needs to have the proper license to open the content. It's NOT that Navitotal doesn't care about the different licenses - because we do - and we make them available when we have them. However, what you're asking here is somewhat on the limited side [just a Toyota] and it would necessitate another member uploading what you need. I suggest that you give ALL the information available about your program and what you are trying to accomplish.
