Map upgrade for new Toyota Yaris (2015)...

Postby undertherain » Tue Oct 13, 2015 3:48 pm

I am going to buy new Toyota Yaris (I live in Italy) and I wonder if the maps for the owner Navteq navigation system are free upgradeable without buying them from Toyota.
Thanks.
Ciao... ;)

Hi,

I have a Toyota Yaris 2012 with "Touch and Go" 1.7.8
My car is on warranty and I found a problem that forced Toyota to do the update 2.11.5
Problem: the audio bluetooth phone is always on.
This problem has been fixed in June 2015, is explained on the site http://www.toyota-tech.eu/
You register , you take an access for 1 hour ( 3 €) and you will find it in the Technical Information bulletins

Nothing at all

Anyways, you should check which nav-system is in your car, then you can look for specific maps for that nav-system.
Legally the answer is no, but you can probably find updates on the internet for your car without having to pay money for them.
