How to update a 32mb Widescreen TomTom Device

Download X_Navcore.9.205.547817.1.Basicpack and copy the complete contents to your device, overwriting any common files
Download X_ttsystem.9.205.547817.1 and copy the contents of the .rar file to your device overwriting when/if prompted (Exept the file readmenot.txt, leave this out)
Download your required map (I will use this map as an example , change the map to whatever country/version you require) United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland 850.2781 ,
When downloaded extract the files to a folder in the root of your device named United_Kingdom_&_Republic_of_Ireland_850.2781.
Download the current version of FastActivate Premium 1.8.9.0 and copy the .exe to the root of your device, Run the .exe
Reboot and now your unit should be updated, Now you can set the switchfiles if needed see this post HERE
