How to update & patch TomTom NAV3 Devices

Hello, my device is TomTom Start 20. I installed maps succesfully but i cant install/activate safety cams . It only activates for Italy but not for my country. Thank you for your answer.

I was able to solve the MSVCR100.dll. error that I encountered while installing the R-Link Explorer software on the computer with the help of the nice and respected FREDDERF who edited the page. Actually the required software seems to be installed but DLL. The error never went away. Finally, I installed Dierctx 11 and the system error disappeared. Thank you very much, you are the best.

hi verry good report im trying to repair my tomtom pro 7100(Nav3) with ttactivator i start with patch navcore and install the truck vergin i download the meta file and download the latest 1085 trcuck map ,i try to put the meta file in the device ttactivator says its installed and the map can be activated but in the device it says an error ocurred with the meta file anyway i restart but in the device says i cant use this map in this device ,whats wrong im doing?

I've followed the instructions above for maps onto sd card but when I get to the R link and inside the ext00 folder there is no common or installed folder.The only folders are lost+found

I've formatted the card in the computer and then in the tomtom and this has sorted the files that were missing along with using a 16gig card as well.

In fact - you must install 1090 map[s] => maps-v1xxx/tomtom-1090-map-collections-t22866.html - it's no needed to download it from links, simple use TTActivator [current version is 1.18 - the link from initial post is for 1.16 - don't care - it will self-update] to do this for you.
Check navcore on your device and follow the steps from post 1.

hello why i cant upload new map in my sd card he dont work with r-link with 32gb sd card

I gave up no way to activate maps superior to 1050 , tomtom pro 7100 nav 3 , i tried everything but no way to activate new maps 1095 for example some say ok its working fine hope if so to put some photos or proof that is workinmg .map 1050 is activated even so when totom starts first it says you cant use this map i shut and start again and it works always the same .

This device is not recognized by TTActivator v1.20. It is detected and updated normally by MyDrive Connect and it appears under Devices and Printers as a Network Infrastructure Device. So, the USB cable is functioning correctly. I made sure to update all drivers and the whole system (Windows 10) + I closed MyDrive Connect and made sure it is not running in the background before launching TTActivator + I made sure that my antivirus (AVG) is not blocking the software.

What is wrong? Why can't TTActivator detect my GPS devise?
