Important note for Tomtom models like VIA52/62, Start40 etc

i have a tomtom start60 (new model) but want another map on my system.
The sd-card possibility is in the tomtom. My question: is it possible to download another map on the sd-card that can be read by the system and activate this map so i can use this? or is that inpossible because of mydrive which only allowes the downloaded maps via mydrive?
Hope someone can help.

I have a Tomtom Start 25.. any update on how to acces it via Windows pc/ update the maps on it?

weird new iphones can be jailbroken after a while.
and TomTom succeeds better than apple

I have a VIA130 and I agree with bri1990... It is unbelievable and weird that TT succeds in builing up a linux system that can not be jailbroken.
Lifetime maps are guarenteed until.... tomtom allows. Now they are asking me money for speedcams update.
Is there any way for these devices in 2021?
BTW, I have a GO730 that is still driving me very good.

My TomTom Start 52 is in some kind of bootloop.
I have opened device and disconnected te screen and battery
Battery is not charging.

Now it starts updating but about every minute restarting and continuing the update
In the logs I found a new URL not mentioned before
