i was trying to find information about soldering SDcard on My TomTom XXL 540 second hand (pay 20euro)
and i found pinout soldering point on Poland forum, i try and i succes, now i have 8gb Sdcard working instead of 2gb internal

ps : you dont need to remove 2gb memory chip like on the picture ..... just solder sdcard and it will work

A lot of maps are now bigger than 8GB, is there a limit on the maximum size memory card that can be fitted?

32GB is normally the maximum providing the appropriate bootloader is installed
